On October 20th the staff & students hosted a 40th anniversary celebration at the Cincinnati Job Corps Academy. Activities included an open house, trade displays, music, food and entertainment. Over 100 guests attended and Mayor Mark Mallory came to support the event. Former staff members, parents, community partners and local residents were also in attendance. Alumni from 1970 were part of the music celebration. City CouncilmanCharlie Winburn read a proclamation from the Mayor and Brooke Hill from US Senator Sherrod Brown’s local office read and presented a Certificate of Commendation from the Senator.
The students did very well and this was a great way to showcase the program and the students.
