United Way of Charleston aides Charleston Job Corps student with tax preparation.

Members of Americorps NCCC were assigned in the Charleston area for a week and were able to assist Cassandra Curtis of United Way with Job Corps students tax preparation needs on Tuesday, March 12.

This event was coordinated by Charleston Job Corps, BCL Nancy Shepherd. Students were advised of the services to be provided and asked to sign up in order to participate.

United way has agreed to come each Friday through April 12, to ensure all student have ample opportunity to process their taxes.
