On Saturday, May 21, 2011, the Charleston Job Corps Student Government Association (SGA) participated in the Armed Forces Veterans Day Parade in South Charleston, West Virginia. The parade honored those who served in the military past and present. There were several police, fire, and medical professionals that participated, as well as military and medical aircraft during the event. The parade drew thousands, and SGA students received media coverage on Eyewitness News Channel 11.
