Spring cleaning is right around the corner for many, including some communities in our region.
Every Saturday in April, the city of Charleston took part in the “Capital City Team Up to Clean Up” event. The projects consisted of litter collection, landscaping, fence painting and creation of public art.
Local businesses, organizations and community members were encouraged to participate, so Charleston Job Corps Center joined the movement. The event was in conjunction with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan’s Make It Shine Program.
