Destiny Davis, a Charleston Job Corps graduate, has begun the next part of her education by enrolling in college.

Destiny realized the importance of further education after aging out of foster care without having a high school diploma.

She opted to join the Charleston Job Corps and use the center as her entrance to college, which she has done.

“I already have,” Destiny answered when asked if she would tell others about the program. “Charleston Job Corps is a terrific place for a chance to build yourself,” she says. It’s also a terrific environment to develop socially, independently, and academically.

Destiny completed her high school diploma as well as both the Network Cable Installation and Office Administration trades.  She is presently a student at West Virginia University’s Institute of Technology in Beckley, WV, majoring in Electronic Engineering.destiny davis
