The Charleston Job Corps employees and students celebrate during the Freedom Festival in recognition of the center’s decision to waive part of the Covid-19 requirements. The staff and students had a terrific chance to mingle during this celebration and simply enjoy themselves in the summer heat.
The event lasted from 1 to 5 PM and was followed by dinner. Dinner was provided by the Pepperoni Grill, and the café served salads and a variety of flavored wings and pepperoni rolls.
Water slides, dunk tanks, and other entertaining activities including a corn hole competition, cotton candy, and a DJ were available to both students and employees. The café also offered delightful delicacies like Banana Splits and energizing beverages.
