The Charleston Job Corps Center received an invitation to join U.S. Senator Joe Manchin III (D-WV) in supporting small businesses. The senator, local elected officials, business and community leaders were on hand to support Dem 2 Brothers and A Grill on Charleston’s West Side, Nov. 18, 2016 during lunch hour. Every year, thousands of individuals patronize retail stores in support of Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving for special holiday deals. In an effort to shop locally, Small Business Saturday was born to support our small business owners. Individuals are encouraged to shop, dine and visit small businesses on Nov. 26 and support local small business owners.
