Charleston Job Corps Center “Patriot Day”-Sept. 11, 2015

Students and staff of the Charleston Job Corps Center partnered with Stonewall Jackson Middle School, on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 for Patriot Day. CJCC Students presented a skit against bullying and violence titled “Graduation Day” written by James Carter, Leisure Time Learning Coordinator to the sixth grade class, teachers and administration. Tierah Williams, Recreation Advisor sang American the Beautiful during the assembly while asking students to join along. Center Director, Willie Brown gave remarks on the significance of September 11. He encouraged students to prevent violence, terrorism and bullying. A special thanks to Tausha Burton for facilitating the venue and Tia Welch, Business Community Liaison for technical and media assistance.
