The Charleston Job Corps Center is pleased to announce Congressman Alex Mooney has joined the congressional Friends of Job Corps Caucus in Washington DC facilitated by the National Job Corps Association. Congressman Mooney and his staff toured the Charleston Job Corps Center on February 24, 2016. The congressman viewed the training and academic departments, recreation, dormitories, food services and administration building with center director, Willie Brown and business community liaison, Tia Welch. This was the congressman’s first visit to the Charleston campus to visit youth 16-24 receiving academic and career technical training for 21st century careers.
