CJCC Lends a Hand to WV State Independent Living Council
The Charleston Job Corps Center was asked to provide assistance to the WV State Independent Living Council (WVSILC) in preparing their office for carpet installation. Facilities Maintenance (FM) students helped by moving furniture and boxing files for temporary transport. The students “worked really hard” said Kathy Young, Office Manager, WVSILC. Young commented on the professionalism and pleasant demeanor of our facilities maintenance students while working June 15-16, 2017. Facilities Maintenance students will return June 22-23, 2017 to replace items once the carpeting is complete. The WVSILC staff extend their gratitude and appreciation to the students who have assisted their facility. Participating FM students include Tiyon Blackwell, Joshua Dube, Jasmine James, Robert Lynch, Anthony Luckey and Lorenzon Thompkins.Group1
