The meeting was called to order by Jeffrey Pierce, Jr., SGA Sergeant At-Arms and welcome and introductions were done by CRC President Laura McCullough. Y2Y Ambassador Desmond Baker, shared center activities during Y2Y week (Sept. 18-22) and his experience at Washington DC with the national director Lenita Jacob Simmons. Invocation was given by Tia Welch, Business Community Liaison.
CJCC Career Opportunities were presented by Teresa Sypolt, Human Resources Manager who also gave an appeal for volunteers to tutor, mentor and work with students. Center departmental highlights were given on zero tolerance by Lisa Lewis, Student Personnel Officer, health services by Patricia Williams, Wellness Manager, center safety and safety procedures by Robert “Charlie” Parry, training department by Debra Wolfgang, CTT Manager, finance and administration by William “Billy” Kincaid, Finance and Administration Director, career services by Andrew Walters, Career Services Director and center director update by Willie Brown. CRC members shared upcoming community meetings and events for the good of the council. This meeting concludes the CRC meetings for 2017.
