Charleston Job Corps Center All Staff Training-March 24, 2017

The Charleston Job Corps Center welcomed president Pete Calvo, Horizons Youth Services during All Staff Training, March 24, 2017 to provide corporate and updates on the Job Corps program. Several training topics were presented from management staff. CJCC welcomed presenter Dale Petry, Director at Kanawha County Homeland Security & Emergency Management to discuss disaster preparedness in Kanawha County. Staff were encouraged to download the free app, KC Ready.

Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16-24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The Charleston Job Corps Center is overseen by the Philadelphia Regional Office of Job Corps and is operated by Horizons Youth Services.
