U.S. Presidential Candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton was in the mountain state today to discuss substance abuse. Clinton was a part of a panel to discuss the opiad abuse issue in WV. She listened to stakeholders from education, recovering addicts, health administrators, drug court judge and local law enforcement. “I want us to really zero in on this together,” Clinton told the crowd. Senator Joe Manchin introduced Clinton and thanked her for coming to support West Virginians in the fight against substance abuse. The center’s business community liaison, Tia Welch was invited to the private event held in the Erma Byrd Gallery at the University of Charleston.
