On June 28, 2024, Janicki Industries hosted an industry tour for 16 students specializing in IT and Homeland Security. The tour provided an immersive experience as the students were guided through key company facilities, offering a firsthand look at the meaningful work being done. The students gained valuable insights into the process of assembling parts and left with a newfound appreciation for the industry. Notably, one student expressed a keen interest in pursuing opportunities within the IT department and was able to establish a connection with a staff member to explore potential internship possibilities. We learned how a Job Corps Alumni began his career at Janicki with starting out in the janitorial position and moved up into leadership position in their IT department.
