Cascades students helped out with the local “Veterans Stand Down” event on November 11th at the American Legion in
Sedro-Woolley, WA. Culinary Arts students provided lunch, while SGA members registered veterans for the free services offered that included dental care (Cascades Dental students assisted), immunizations, cold weather gear, and disability claims processing. The students also served warm coffee and helped with clean up when the event was finished.
