Cascades Dental students participated in the first annual Skagit County Homeless Connection project. The event, which took place at the community college, provided those in need with several services including medical care, clothing, hair care, mental health care and dental needs.
The Cascades students were asked to take part in the event through Medical Teams International, where our students have been working with their mobile dental van program for several years.
Those attending the event were also connected with services that assist with housing and finding employment. The event was sponsored by the Skagit County Health Department.
