Before coming to Cascades Job Corps, Mario Molinero had applied for an entry level position at a company, but he needed a few hard skills. With assistance from Admissions, Mario learned he could obtain the needed skills from Job Corps program. He would be able to learn Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and much more. Mario found that Cascades Job Corps had the program to support his career goals. Mario enrolled in October of 2023 with a focus in finance and business trade. He was able to swiftly work through the Office trade and gained certificates. Mario stepped into a leadership position on campus, and started a Latin American Club . He found this would “ encourage students to engage in Latin American cultures .” The club has grown from 10 to 15 members attending each week. Mario’s value in people centered services brings a positive impact to the workforce.
