On June 5, 2024, the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce hosted its Members Luncheon at Cascades Job Corps. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the center to engage with the community, with Mayor Julia Johnson delivering the State of the City and the Port of Skagit sharing updates on business development initiatives at the SWIFT center. Over 50 businesses attended, and a campus tour was given to explore further partnerships with the center to support work-based learning for the students.
