A recommendation from a cousin who is a fellow Job Corps Alumni led Kyle to consider going into Job Corps himself. After a successful 7 1/2 year business run, The Window Washer Wizard, was wanting more and discovering that someone could go to Job Corps and receive a free of cost college experience after completing a trade, was the deciding factor to applying in 2022.

Kyle enrolled in the Spring of 2022, choosing to pursue Office Administration with additional secondary certifications for a total of 25 industry recognized certifications. Kyle’s entrepreneur drive found a pathway into leadership opportunities by running for and getting elected for the Student Government Association President position from the Spring of 2023 until the Fall of 2023. Kyle was promoted to Floor Lead for his dormitory and Recreational Union Lead, for nearly a year.

While at Cascades Job Corps, Kyle fulfilled his dream of going to college, graduating with his class of 2024 on June 13, 2024.

Job Corps prepared Kyle for further education where living on campus allowed him to focus on his studies and achieve a higher GPA. Kyle now plans to transfer his college degree to a university for a major in Mathematics or Astronomy. His top choices include Johns Hopkins, Cornell, and Rice University. Congratulations, Kyle!
