Renne had been working at various restaurants, but he didn’t think it would lead him anywhere or provide him with a career pathway. However, when he enrolled in Cascades Job Corps, Renne found new opportunities.
He obtained industry-recognized certifications in the Homeland Security trade, which led him to enroll in the local community college in the Spring Quarter of 2024. Renne was then presented with a job offer by a Facilities Services Company to be a Security Guard. During his time at Cascades Job Corps, Renne learned a lot about social interaction and interpersonal communication, which was highly educational for him in Security and Protective Services.
Renne also discovered a stronger career pathway within his chosen industry. As a result, Renne now feels that there are more career opportunities than ever before. His time spent on campus instilled a brighter hope for the future, “Job Corps helped me rebuild myself in the way I wanted to.” Congratulations, Renne!
