Don Carter All Star Bowling Lanes was the setting for Special Olympians of Louisiana birth in state title games and Carville Job Corps student volunteers assisted in the high stakes event for 157 middle and high school bowlers from the area. It was all about the competition and a sense of accomplishment for the Olympians and Carville Job Corps students who were matched 1on1 with the bowlers. Student volunteers participated
with the Louisiana Special Olympics, Bowling Events two consecutive weeks. The center student employees will also Volunteer for the Spring Games slated in March 2011.
