Carville Job Corps Center Volunteers – MAke A Difference Day 2012

MADD- Make A Difference Week was celebrated across the United States along with the Carville student employees and staff.  Carville,  participated in Make A Difference Day by volunteering with several  local, national and neighboring parish community organizations that included  the Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, Louisiana; Baton Rouge Food Bank, Habitat For Humanity Restore, Baton Rouge Louisiana; Baton Rouge Youth Oasis – Teen Shelter and Transitional Living Apartments Renovation and Beautification Project, St Elizabeth Hospital Health Expo, Gonzales, Louisiana; Nottingham Senior Assisted Living Facility, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the  Gonzales Rehabilitation, Nursing and Hospice Care Center, Gonzales, Louisiana. One Hundred (100) plus students and over ten (10) staff participated in the weeklong activities that touch the lives and hearts of both the students and the individuals they connected with as they participated in the Make A Difference Day volunteer experiences.
