Carville Job Corps Center Work Based Learning partner R W Day Properties owns and manages over 25 properties in Louisiana. Four (4) RW Day properties are designated Carville WBL work sites for Carville Job Corps Home Builders Institute/ Facilities Maintenance student employees. The students who intern with the RW Day properties utilize their vocational hands-on experiences that management states most times exceeds employed staff.  To date RW Day Properties has hired five (5) Carville student interns who are presently working and residing on property as on-site maintenance employees.  Most recent Carville student Dontrell Colar was hired in November at Oakbrook Condominiums upon a recommendation from another RW Day property manager who had the opportunity to have him as an intern.  Thanks!
