Carville Job Corps Center held its Seventh Semi –Annual Graduation Ceremony on January 21st. Seventy- Three student employees received certifications in one of the 5 various Career Technical Training areas offered on center and a high school diploma/GED. The centers largest class since first opening in 2006 with the 1st Graduating Class of 14. Mrs. Natalie Robottom, Parish President of St James The Baptist Parish in St James, LA addressed the seventy-three graduates encouraging them to set new goals, follow their dreams of becoming successful in their careers and remain productive citizens. Rhonda Broussard, former student graduate spoke to her former classmates of how Job Corps changed her life and the opportunities to advance awaits, if they continue to carry the career development skills received at Job Corps with them day to day.
