Carville Job Corps Center hosted its 2nd Pre-Thanksgiving Luncheon along with the center’s Monthly Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in the center’s
Gym, Guest Speaker for the event was radio talk show host; Latangela Sherman of Max 94.1 F M. The program also included a skit titled “Thanksgiving Blessings”, presented by students from the High School Diploma Class. Guests included: the Committee for Training and Education Council(CTEC ) President ,Mike Spicer; Community Work Based Learning (WBL) ,Partners St Gabriel Police Department and St Gabriel Hardware Store came and Guest Speaker Ms. Sherman concluded with an inspirational song – THE Lords Prayer. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
