Carville Job Corps Center  hosted its Annual Thanksgiving Banquet in conjunction with its monthly  Student Awards Ceremony. Members of the  center’s Community Relations and Industry Council members attended expressing their thanks  and how grateful they are to have partnered with Carville and have students working alongside their employers as interns, service project volunteers as well as employees. Partners  were  elated to see how the center acknowledge and reward student success  monthly.   The Carville spirit of giving continued with the Center’s Leadership members,  donating  seven  less fortunate community families-Thanksgiving food baskets that made their holiday complete.  Pictured below is Center Industry Member/WBL Partner- East Baton Rouge Public Works Traffic Engineering- Chief Engineer /Assistant Director-  Cindy Pennington (left) greeting WBL student employee- Shemicia Marshall(right). Industry Member/WBL Partner- East Baton Rouge Public Works Traffic Engineering Site Supervisor-Charles Washington(far right), conversing with WBL interns- Keylan Walker- (left), and Edward Reaux(center)  during banquet.
