Carville Job Corps Center’s American Petroleum Institute – Roustabout Program Participated in Water Survival and HUET-Training,   with Shell Oil at their Robert, Louisiana training facility.  Pictured below are the 11 students,  who were trained in water survival techniques and how to escape from a sinking helicopter after landing on the water: Tre Boxie, Richard Cox, Larrol Davis, Holden Debarge, Curtisshia Finister, William Lang, D’vonte Lastrapes, Nicholas Mathews, Maygan Thompson, Henry Williams and Chermile Benoit. The students were introduced to the different types of life jackets (PFDs), locating devices, cold water suits, life rafts and safety systems on board helicopters.
