Two students attending the Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center in Prestonsburg, Ky., have recently been employed through the Work Based Learning Program to begin work with StoneCrest Golf Course. This is the second year that Perkins has partnered with the beautiful, Eastern Kentucky course and their maintenance department. Students will be involved in a 6 week program receiving pay while being exposed to the work involved in maintaining a golf course.
