Students, staff donate 33 pints during drive
On July 17, Carl D. Perkins Job Corps students and staff donated 33 pints of blood to the American Red Cross. Many departments collaborated to make the blood drive a success. Recreation staff set up the gymnasium for the event, Culinary students served lunch to the ARC staff, and student volunteers assisted with registration.
“Most people have enough blood to spare, yet there is still not enough to go around,” said Brian Jones from the American Red Cross.
