The Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Security & Protective Services students put their skills to use to assist with the annual Big Sandy Community and Technical College and the Mountain Arts Center’s Christmas at the MAC on Dec. 12, ensuring a very special guest stayed well protected until it was time for his big debut. Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand to greet all the guests and have pictures taken with the children. All enjoyed treats of popcorn and hot chocolate during the event.

Perkins Job Corps Security students assisted with parking and ensured the line of those waiting to visit with Santa Claus ran smoothly.

The MAC event included numerous vendors and Christmas scenes set up for families to enjoy.This is the second year that Perkins Job Corps Security students assisted with the event.
