Perkins students assisted during a special event that helps hundreds of families in need especially during the holidays. The annual Christmas Basket Program sponsored by the Christian Appalachian Project provided, food, clothing, toys, household items for hundreds of families in need on December 4th and 5th.
Families got to attend a Christmas Party, to enjoy a reading of the Christmas Story, special charismas music, lunch and a visit from Santa Clause. After the day’s activities, families will pick up their food baskets with everything needed for a traditional Christmas Dinner, toys and other items for their children.
