While most young people were visiting parks, swimming pools, and beaches over the 1^stofficial holiday start of summer, Ms. Beverly Compton’s Security Students Spent their Memorial Day Weekend working. The City of Prestonsburg hosted the High school Regional Baseball & Softball tournament held at the Stone Crest Ball Park. With this type of event, 　hundreds of teams, families, and fans would be　traveling to the ball park. The city of Prestonsburg called for extra help from the Carl D. Perkins Job Corps security students. Knowing that the Perkins students were well trained and up for the task. 

Ms. Beverly Compton and her students worked each day directing spectators to parking, restrooms, different events while also ensuring the safety of the teams and spectators. Such great on the job training for the students. Ms. Compton should be commend for her dedication

to her students and the Job Corps program.
