Carl D.Perkins Job Corps Y2Y student ambassador Karessa Perry-Wells Discusses the Youth2Youth (Y2Y) program to local highschool students during the North Point Academy’s Career day in Pikeville , Ky. All students that visited the Perkins booth also signed Y2Y pledge cards to help prevent violence in their schools and communities. The Perkins team will take the pledge cards back to add to their Y2Y Community pledge board located at the entrance of the center. This is just one of many activities the Center and the Y2Y student ambassadors are doing in observance of National Youth Violence Prevention Week.
