Thursday November 10, 2016 Carl D. Perkins Job Corps students assisted the Appalachian Hospice Center in honoring veterans at the National Guard Armory in Prestonsburg, KY. Perkins students worked two days preparing for the appreciation dinner. Perkins Construction Students assisted with setting up tables and chairs for the event, while Culinary students served the veterans at the dinner and Security & Protective Service students assisted the Floyd County Sheriffs department with traffic control and parking.
