Former Perkins Security & Protective student Damien Ganns, completed what he needed to do at Perkins and enlisted the United States Army in August, 2017. Damien,19 years old from Redding PA enrolled at the Perkins Job Corps in November 2016. He came needing his high school diploma and a trade, but needed the structure even more. Damien, worked hard and completed high school and his trade. In July, 2017 he made his dream a reality and continued on with his plan and enlisted in the United States Army and completed his training at Infantry School in Fort Benning, Georgia in November 2017.
