Carl D. Perkins renewed partnership with the university of Pikeville. On Tuesday November 29, 2016 students began Work based Learning internship at the University of Pikeville, in Pikeville, KY. Seven Culinary students will work Monday –Thursday in the cafeteria rotating each week working in different areas. Student as part of their vocational training work at an actual business or other entity for on the job training . When students reach a certain percentage in their classroom training they become edible for Work Based Learning program.
