The Carl D. Perkins Job Corps, with the help of Prestonsburg, KY Police Department held an active shooter drill on center Sept 9. The drill is part of Perkins” Youth2Youth” activities as well as its ongoing safety program to ensure that the center is a safe, secure environment for the students who learn there and the staff who work there. Prestonsburg police staged the active shooter drill using paint balls as their “ammunition”. Perkins Job Corps thanks everyone who participated in these important safety drills ceremony and safety drills.
