The Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center held its annual Fall College/Career Day on November 5, 2015, in the center’s gymnasium. Over 500 local high school students from the Floyd County schools , along with the Perkins students, had the chance to talk with over 40 vendors about various careers paths and educational opportunities. The turnout was outstanding with a diverse set of employers and colleges to answer questions or spark an interest in careers that they may not have thought of.
