Tuesday, April 9, the Perkins students and staff partnered with the American Red Cross to hold its 2nd blood drive of the year. The Students and Staff donated over 25 usable pints of blood for the drive. With April being National Volunteer Month Carl D. Perkins was happy to team up with the American Red Cross, for this life saving event. Eligible donors of all blood types, especially type O, are needed to help ensure blood products are available for patients this spring. Perkins will be scheduling another drive in the upcoming months.
