Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center is proud of the students that have advanced to the next step in their educational journey. Twenty-six young students have completed all program requirements to be eligible for the College Program. Students must complete their high school diploma, have a TABE score of 600 or more, complete their vocational trade and being in good standing for behavior. 

Electrical Student 23 year old Jonathan Day from Somerset, KY stated that ” He never dreamed that he would ever be attending college, that if it wasn’t for Perkins Job Corps he would not have had this opportunity. “
