Congratulations to the Carl D. Perkins Job Corps (CDPJCC) Finance Team! Each year, Horizon’s Youth Services (HYS) hosts a friendly competition between the finance departments of the centers they operate. A total of 6 centers including Perkins were evaluated on Finance, Purchasing, Property, and Finance & Administration for the period covering July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
Perkins Finance and Administration Director, Mrs. Tracy Kute was pleased to learn her team had earned 1st place moving up from 2nd place last year, due to the criteria noted in the Perkins Incentive Plan. The Perkins Incentive Plan policy mirrors the HYS policies and procedures and clearly reflects the company’s goal of maintaining fiscal integrity. The Perkins Team is grateful, that their continuous commitment has paid off.
Perkins Job Corps 1st place earnings; a $500 award, is part of an incentive fund that may be used for departmental parties, equipment, or any other activity as approved by the Perkins Center Director, Mrs. Paulena Davis. In addition to the incentive awards, plaques or certificates will be provided and displayed at the center. The Perkins Team is still planning their incentive awards.
