Perkins Culinary students showed the community, the art of fine cuisine. The students prepared food for the “Evening at Tiffany’s” fundraiser event held at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, KY on July 27, 2017.The event was sponsored by Mountain Comprehensive Care Center Regional Interagency Council as a fundraiser event for a teen center in the city of Prestonsburg, KY. The ladies night out event included dinner, vendor shopping , and entertainment. With Perkins SGA students and several staff attended the event.

Students prepared a five star dinner to go with the event. The evenings menu consisted of grilled Salmon, Chicken with steamed vegetables, salad, rolls and peanut butter pie. This was a great teaching event for the students. Students can practice their trade in cooking dinner for events such as these when the agency provides the food for the event. It helps the students and the community. Perkins was excited to be a part of such a big event for a great cause.
