Carl D. Perkins holds Fall College/Career Fair on Thursday November 2, 2017. The Center had over thirty vendors set up at the fair. Employers and Colleges had the opportunity to talk with Perkins Job Corps Students, over 300 local high school students and several in the community that were seeking employment. This is the 5th year that the Perkins Center has held the event and it continues to grow each year. This is an opportunity to showcase the Perkins Center and inform potential employers and students what we have to offer. It also gives students an opportunity to network with potential employers. The Perkins Center offers vocational training in Security, Advanced Security, Office Administration, Culinary Arts, Facilities Maintenance, and Electrical, Perkins also offers other trainings through partnership with Big Sandy Community & Technical College.
