While most are with their families on Thanksgiving day, the Carl D. Perkins Culinary students were busy at work, assisting with the Jenny Wiley State Parks annual Thanksgiving Buffet. Students worked from 11-7 prepping food, serving, ensuring the buffet was always well stocked. The students got to enjoy a complimentary dinner form the park fro their all of their hard work.
Park Manager, Julian Slone stated that “we served over 800 guest, without your students this would not have been possible“.
