On October 22, 2010, in observation of Make a Difference Day, the Brunswick Job Corps members of W.I.S.E, spend the day at the Manna House, in Brunswick. The Manna House has been feeding families since 1983, in the Glynn County area. Approximately 150 people were fed on the 22nd. Not because of W.I.S.E, but because of the need within the community and the volunteers who commit their time each day to help those in need. The Manna House provides hot meals, clothing and books to those in need. Manna House serves the community Sunday thru Friday of each week. The Brunswick Job Corps Women Inspiring Strength and Excellent was formed on Center in 2007, to help support and motivate young women during Center life and encourage them to reach their greatest potential. The W.I.S.E members along with one student from Facility Maintenance, also, ensured the property grounds of Manna House were clean, in partnership with Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful, fall clean-up and recycle project. KBGIB provided trash bags and gloves for the students and staff. The Make a Difference Day activity by Brunswick Job Corps, was covered in the Brunswick News Paper on October 23, 2010.
