Bright Future

Tiffany Roberson is a 21 year old, from Waycross, GA, Ms. Roberson arrived at Brunswick Job Corps on May 4, 2010, Ms. Roberson TABE out on May 6, 2010. Ms. Roberson selected Medical Assistant as her vocational trade and is currently 72% complete. Ms. Roberson made history on August 20th along with Brunswick Job Corps Center, she was amongst the students and staff to greet and meet with United States Senator Saxby Chambliss. Senator Chambliss is the first United States Senator to ever visit Brunswick Job Corps Center and his visit occurred on the 45th anniversary of the Job Corps program. 
Ms. Roberson shared her dreams of becoming an obstetrician/gynecologist with Senator Chambliss and told the Senator, how Job Corps opens the door for the poor and disadvantaged youth and gives them the opportunity to attend college. Ms. Roberson stated, although, she graduated high school with honors, she did not see college in her future because her family could not afford it.  Ms. Roberson is a member of the Brunswick Job Corps student government association and holds the position of, Executive Secretary. Ms. Roberson is currently assigned to Work Based Learning and working within the Cardiopulmonary Department, at Southeast Georgia Health System. Ms. Roberson displays the attributes that Brunswick Job Corps encourage of all it’s students and we here at Brunswick Job Corps, are proud to be apart of the pathway to Tiffany’s future.
