Current student Justin Zeman has achieved many successes while enrolled at Boxelder Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. He completed his training and certification tests to become licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Over the past several months, he has also been working as an intern and student driver for the Job Corps Center.
With all of his accomplishments, Justin is just getting started. Recently, Justin learned of Job Corps’ Advanced Traning program. Throughout the country, several Job Corps Centers offer additional training and certifications/degrees for students who have successfully completed their basic vocational and educational training. Justin decided to apply to the LPN Advanced Training Program offered by the Cassadaga Job Corps Center in upstate New York. After sending in his application and completing an in-person interview, Justin was selected for the Fall 2011 class, and will transfer and begin his studies at the end of September.
“I’m very excited for this new challange!” said Justin. “There are so many opportunities available through the Job Corps program, and I’m thankful to have this opportunity.”
Upon completion of his advanced training, Justin will receive his LPN licensure, along with an Associate Degree in Nursing from an area community college. Boxelder Job Corps would like to congratulate Justin on his current and future successes!
