On June 9, 2011, Azia D. and Shavonna D. received unexpected job offers from their internships site, Hands of Grace Assisted Living in Marion, Va.  Hands of Grace signed the internship MOU in April 2011.  Shavonna and Azia were in the first group of interns to start in May.  Hands of Grace was so impressed with their performance and attitudes, that they have extended full-time employment offers to the students.

Both students are planning to continue their education and receive additional certifications at BRJCC.  They are planning to work 2nd shift a couple nights a week and the weekend shift.  Hands of Grace is also in the process of offering more employment opportunities to internship students!  WAY TO GO BLUE RIDGE JOB CORPS CENTER NURSE ASSISTANTS!
