Blue Ridge students from various medical training programs were selected to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Annual “Ladies Day Out” event.  This event celebrates the life of cancer survivors and memorializes those where cancer took their life.  Out students helped many vendors with conducting vital sign checks, sugar/glucose checks, registrations and other responsibilities.  Thsi event is to also raise awareness of Breast Cancer.  There various speakers and informational seminars for attendees.  Our students had a wonderful time and it opened their eyes as to how many people are affected by cancer every day.
