On November 4, 2010, 37 employer representatives attended the Blue Ridge Job Corps Industry Council Meeting.  Employers were excited and eager to learn of the new medical career technical programs that are being added at Blue Ridge Job Corps Center.  We discussed future Internship opportunities for students with the new programs (Electronic Health Records, Patient Care Tech, Lab Technician).  We also discussed employment opportunities for Blue Ridge Graduates in the future.  Many comments were made from employers regarding our students’ professionalism and strong work ethic during their internships.  Theya re very please with the quality of our programs and our students.
